{the GIRL;} Melissa is a twit. ‘Nuff said. Okay, not really. Melissa is a 18 year-old girl who just so happens to have a livejournal. She’s a sophomore at a community college with a major in psychology. She loves penguins, her boyfriend, acting, singing, writing, helping people, being happy, video games, fuzzy things, anime, weaponry, martial arts and lots of other things. She’s an only child, but she’s got tons of cousins that lend to her maternal side (see personALITY).
{personALITY;} On one hand, Melissa is bubbly, smart, caring, outgoing, passionate, honest, maternal, willing to help, and just plain fun. On the other, she’s a handful, slightly spoiled, sarcastic, rebellious, stubborn, lazy, and a tad too sensitive. She’s susceptible to stress, loves chocolate, and absolutely cannot stand arrogant people, sluts, or chauvinistic people. She loves sunshine and laying out under blue skies in green grass. She strives to be different, unique, and simply herself, but has found her place in this world in an amazing person who loves her for just being her. She's so optimistic that she believes she can change the world--one person at a time. She can get distraught but always bounces back. She loves being in love, loving life, loving her loved ones, and loving for love's sake.
She’s often compared to Rinoa Heartilly of FFVIII—she loves the color blue and angels, she sits on floors when she’s depressed or feeling some other strange emotion, and she walks funny and does other unique idiosyncrasies when she’s embarrassed or put in an awkward situation. And in case you didn’t notice, she looks a hell of a lot like her, too (scroll down for a pic).
